Discreet for GPT ("the Extension") is a Chrome browser extension operated by xelogpt that visually hides selected ChatGPT conversations behind a user-defined secret code. The Extension provides visual privacy only — it does not encrypt, delete, or otherwise secure your conversations on OpenAI's servers. It is not a security tool.
By installing or using the Extension, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, uninstall the Extension and stop using the service.
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Extension on one browser profile at a time. You may not resell, redistribute, reverse-engineer, or create derivative works from the Extension.
Payments are processed securely by Stripe. By completing your purchase, you expressly consent to immediate delivery of digital content and acknowledge that you waive your right of withdrawal under EU Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 16(m). All sales are final — no refunds.
We aim to keep the license verification server running, but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The Extension's core functionality (hiding/revealing conversations) works fully offline and does not depend on server availability.
The Extension is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Extension will be error-free, uninterrupted, or compatible with future versions of Chrome or ChatGPT.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, xelogpt shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Extension. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Extension (if any).
We reserve the right to revoke your license key if we reasonably determine that it is being abused, shared, or used in violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Extension at any time by uninstalling it.
We may update these Terms from time to time. The updated version will be posted on this page with a new date. Continued use of the Extension after changes constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Hungary. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Hungary, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rules of your country of residence.
